AEM is pleased to announce that it has made a substantial investment in A320 escape slide exchange inventory. The exchange inventory totals 16 slides and slide/rafts.

AEM is quality approved for the overhaul and repair of A320 escape slides/slide rafts by EASA, FAA and Transport Canada and, thereby, can offer EASA Form 1, FAA Form 8130-3 and Transport Canada release. AEM provides dual EASA and FAA release certification to a number of its customers. This benefit allows the unit to be fitted to a European or American registered aircraft and makes component logistics much easier and more flexible for the customer.

AEM is able to offer repair and overhaul of a whole suite of components on emergency equipment including slides/slide rafts, oxygen, life jackets and fire extinguishers. AEM is also able to provide component maintenance on other areas of the A320 platform such as IDGs, ignition exciters, fuel/defuel panels and machining and plating.
