This section specialises in hydraulic servo-actuators. One of the few stations in the world to have original equipment manufacturer factory-trained personnel, it services hydraulic modules, integrated valves and auxiliary and primary servos. The unit specialises in flying controls from the Bell, Sikorsky and Eurocopter range of helicopters, as well as various other makes and fixed wing aircraft. The repairs and overhauls are undertaken in a controlled environment within which the temperature and air quality are closely monitored - a vital provision for such delicate work.

The complete repair process, from strip-down through build-up and testing, is carried out under dual inspection.
