Our safety equipment workshops are probably the most comprehensive of their kind in Europe, with extensive investments in equipment and training to carry out repairs beyond the capabilities of most other facilities.

For inflation cylinders and passenger door assistance cylinders, we have a USDOT-approved hydrostatic test facility and we can recharge with carbon dioxide, nitrogen or helium. For the often-overlooked regulator, we have a custom-built test rig that indicates correct gas regulation by means of a digital oscilloscope.

For inflatables, we have four purpose-built work areas where escape slides, slide/rafts, life rafts and helicopter floats are inflated, inspected, repaired and subjected to an electronically controlled air retention test prior to being reassembled and repacked. For the crucial repacking operation, we have a wide range of manufacturer-designed packing fixtures and an electronically controlled hot process room to ensure that your slide or slide/raft is packed to design standards. Our staff are factory trained and certificated by the manufacturers.
